During my recent week-long stay at the Red Lion, I was thoroughly impressed by the establishment's ability to exceed my high expectations in every aspect. The welcoming atmosphere, complete with friendly staff like Mandy and Kelly, made my long journey feel worthwhile, while the cosy and clean room provided a perfect sanctuary after a day of travel. I particularly appreciated the unexpected evening meal prepared just for me, as it showcased their commitment to hospitality even on quieter days, and was a delightful treat after a long drive; the food was hot and plentiful. The Red Lion stands out not just as a place to rest, but as a community hub filled with character, excellent service, and a genuine warmth that leaves a lasting impression.
